At Hona, we believe therapy works best when it's built around the person — not a one-size-fits-all program. Our clinicians pair proven clinical methods with real one-on-one attention.
No two people communicate, move, or process the world in exactly the same way. We start by understanding your specific strengths and challenges, then build a therapy plan around your goals, not a standard template. That individualized focus is what drives real, lasting progress.
Every technique our clinicians use is grounded in current clinical research. You can trust that the therapy you or your child receives reflects the most effective, up-to-date methods in speech and occupational therapy, not guesswork.
Progress doesn't stop when the session ends. We coach caregivers and family members on how to reinforce therapy goals at home, at work, or in daily routines, so the skills built in session carry over into everyday life.

Step 1: Tell us about yourself (or your child) Fill out a short intake form. We'll use it to match you with a couple of clinicians who could be a good fit.
Step 2: Talk with the clinicians we connect you with This is your chance to ask questions and see who feels like the right match. Most clinicians offer a free 15-minute consultation, and it's normal to speak with more than one before deciding.
Step 3: Share your insurance information We'll run an eligibility check and let you know what your plan covers — including anything like prior authorization requirements or annual visit limits.
Step 4: Complete a short medical history form This gives your clinician the context they need to walk into your first session prepared.
Step 5: Schedule your first session Some clients come to us with a recent evaluation already in hand; others will need one from Hona first. You and your clinician will figure out which applies to you.
